Frozen temperatures are reaching across of much of the U.S. today with an estimated 200 million Americans facing temperatures under freezing.
In Indianapolis, Indiana a water main break last night left cars literally frozen to the ground.
In Ohio a house was left coated in ice after firefighters stopped a house fire.
In Portland, Maine the temperature--dipping below 0--were so cold that "sea smoke" was seen on the water. The smoke is fog that is created when extremely cold air moves over warmer water.
Even southern states are dealing with the deep freeze. Eight states including all states along the Gulf of Mexico have had hard freeze warnings in place.
Even Texas was hit with a freezing rain warning according to the National Weather Service.
