Hannah Graham's Parents Plead For Help on One Month Anniversary of Disappearance
The 18-year-old student was last seen on Sept. 13.
— -- The parents of missing University of Virginia student Hannah Grahamreleased a statement today on the one month anniversary of their daughter's disappearance.
"It is heart-breaking for us that the person or persons who know where Hannah is have not come forward with that information," John and Sue Graham said in the statement. "It is within their power both to end this nightmare for all, and to relieve the searchers of their arduous task."
The 18-year-old sophomore disappeared in the early morning hours of Sept. 13 and was last seen with a man who police said was Jesse Matthew.
Matthew was arrested in Galveston, Tex. on Sept. 24 and was charged with abduction with intent to defile Graham.
Graham's parents, who are British but have lived in the United States for most of Hannah's life, have already made public appeals for information during the search, but today they called on someone to come forward with the information they need to find their daughter.
"Please, please, please help us to bring Hannah home," the statement read.
Virginia State Police and Charlottesville police have not released any updates about the case since Matthew was extradited to Virginia. His court date has been pushed back to Dec. 1.
