— -- Two people aboard a helicopter involved in a shoot for a hunting reality TV show were injured when the helicopter made a hard landing, authorities said.

A Robinson R-44 helicopter made a hard landing at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday near Carlos, Texas, according to FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

Crews aboard two helicopters were filming when the aircraft came down in a wooded area, said Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell.

One man suffered a broken leg, said Sowell. The other man's injuries weren't immediately released. Both were taken to Bryan St. Joseph Regional Hospital.

Lunsford said the FAA will investigate the incident.
