Man Flashes Genitals During Alvin & Chipmunks Movie

Jan. 5, 2012— -- Moviegoers taking in an afternoon showing of the G-rated "Alvin and the Chipmunks" film were surprised at the show they got instead: a male adult flasher, walking around completely naked in the theater.

Police arrested Edward L. Brown, 34, of Chicago, at the Classic Cinema after the movie theater alerted them to the naked patron. According to a report by KTLA, Brown had pulled the stunt because a woman had promised him crack and sex if he sat in the front row of the theater and took off his clothes.

Movie theater employees stopped the showing of the latest "Chipmunks" film and began escorting patrons out of the theater after a viewer notified them of the naked man, police said.

Witnesses told police that about 20 to 30 minutes into the show, Brown walked completely naked in the front of the theater, turned to face the audience, and exposed his genitals to the crowd, which included children as young as 4 years old.

Brown was charged with sexual exploitation of a child and disorderly conduct.
