Manhunt for California Man Accused in Wife's Shooting Death After Marriage Counseling
Police believe Jeremy Green killed his wife following marriage counseling.
— -- A manhunt is underway for a California man accused of killing his wife following a marriage counseling session.
Police in San Diego believe Jeremy Green, 40, fatally shot his wife Tressa, 37, Saturday in the parking lot outside of their marriage counselor’s office after having a fight.
Police say Green shot his wife -- a mother of three -- three times before fleeing.
Green’s silver Corvette was later recovered from a parking lot near the California-Mexico border.
Additionally, authorities said they found a shotgun registered to Green in a park 30 miles away from where the shooting took place. It was unclear whether or not that gun was used in the shooting.
“He’s a very dangerous individual,” San Diego Police Lt. Paul Rorrison said. “He’s obviously armed, he’s brazen, he has absolutely no problem killing someone in broad daylight.”
The couple has had problems in the past, with Tressa Green filing for divorce in April, citing irreconcilable differences.
