Parents of Missing Producer Fear It’s Not Like Him to Disappear
Eric Kohler was last seen in his new Range Rover last Tuesday.
— -- The parents of a missing film producer in California say it’s not like him to disappear.
The last sighting of Eric Kohler, 27, – who has worked on “The Avengers,” “X-Men and “World War Z” – were surveillance images of his brand-new black Range Rover pulling out of a south Los Angeles shopping center around 4 p.m. last Tuesday.
“I am a devastated dad,” Tony Kohler told ABC News. “I want my son back; I want him to come home. I can’t find him.”
Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Officer Jenny Hauser told ABC News, “He has no history in the past of being missing for this length of time.”
Kohler’s family said they suspect foul play.
“He would never just go away,” Kohler’s mom, Sheryi Kohler, said. “He works so hard at what he does; he is ambitious.”
She added: “It’s a living nightmare. It’s the hardest thing to ever go through.”
