The Unbreakable Project,a new Tumblr blog started by art student Grace Brown, shows pictures of women and men who say they are victims of sexual abuse holding signs with quotes from their abusers. Many of the subjects choose to remain anonymous, not showing their faces in the photos.

Some women pictured on the website choose not to show their faces, and instead just show the signs with quotes from their alleged sexual abusers. Those who do show their faces are not named and do not name their alleged attackers.

"You cannot tell anybody, this is our secret," reads the quote from this woman's alleged sexual abuser.

"The people who have participated say it's really helpful for them. It's something that they finally let go," founder Grace Brown said.

Katherine Hull, of the Rape, Incest and Abuse National Network, said the site can help victims feel less alone. "Many survivors say that they felt as thought they were alone or ashamed to come forward, but hearing from other people made them realize it was not their fault," Hull said.

"No one ever really thinks about what is said to someone (during a sexual attack). That's one of the most damaging things, words. It's what a human said to another human, and they're finally able to get rid of it in some way," founder Grace Brown said.

"I think (victims) feel like they're less alone, seeing that it happened to this person too. Most of the time when someone goes through that they feel like they're the only ones," Brown said.
