U.S. Military Deaths in War With Iraq -- 2005

Pfc. Jason D. Scheuerman, 20, of Lynchburg, Va., died in Muqdadiyah, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries.

Sgt. Jonathon C. Haggin, 26, of Kingsland, Ga., died in Baghdad, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle while he was on patrol.

Sgt. 1st Class Victor A. Anderson, 39, of Ellaville, Ga. and

Staff Sgt. David R. Jones Sr., 45, of Augusta, Ga. and

Sgt. Ronnie L. Shelley Sr., 34, of Valdosta, Ga. died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle while they were on patrol.

Pvt. Ernesto R. Guerra, 20, of Long Beach, Calif., died in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries sustained on July 28 in Baghdad, Iraq, when his vehicle was involved in an accident.

Staff Sgt. Carl R. Fuller, 44, of Covington, Ga. and

Sgt. James O. Kinlow, 35, of Thomson, Ga. and

Sgt. John F. Thomas, 33, of Valdosta, Ga. died in Baghdad, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle while they were on patrol.
