Lance Cpl. Tyler J. Troyer, 21, of Tangent, Ore., died from wounds received as a result of small arms fire while conducting combat operations against enemy forces near Al Karmah, Iraq.

November 17, 2005

Staff Sgt. Ivan V. Alarcon, 23, of Jerome, Idaho, died in Tal Afar, Iraq when his vehicle accidentally rolled over during combat operations.

Pfc. Anthony A. Gaunky, 19, of Sparta, Wis., died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany of injuries sustained in Bayji, Iraq, when his vehicle was involved in a vehicle accident during convoy operations.

Spc. Vernon R. Widner, 34, of Redlands, Calif., in Tikrit died of injuries sustained in Bayji, Iraq when his vehicle was involved in a vehicle accident during convoy operations.

November 16, 2005

Sgt. Jeremy E. Murray, 27, of Atwater, Ohio, died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in the vicinity of Hadithah, Iraq.

2nd Lt. Donald R. McGlothlin, 26, of Lebanon, Va., died from small arms fire while conducting combat operations against enemy forces during Operation Steel Curtain in Ubaydi, Iraq.

Pvt. Dylan R. Paytas, 20, of Freedom, Pa., died in Baqubah, Iraq, from injuries sustained from multiple gunshot wounds.

Spc. Alexis Roman-Cruz, 33, of Brandon, Fla. died in Balad, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations.

Lance Cpl. Roger W. Deeds, 24, of Biloxi, Miss. and

Lance Cpl. John A. Lucente, 19, of Grass Valley, Calif. and

Cpl. Jeffry A. Rogers, 21, of Oklahoma City, Okla. and

Cpl. Joshua J. Ware, 20, of Apache, Okla. died while conducting combat operations against enemy forces during Operation Steel Curtain in Ubaydi, Iraq.

Lance Cpl. Nickolas D. Schiavoni, 26, of Haverhill, Mass., died from a suicide, vehicle-borne, improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces near Al Karmah, Iraq.

Staff Sgt. James E. Estep, 26, of Leesburg, Fla., and

Spc. Matthew J. Holley, 21, of San Diego, Calif. and

Pfc. Travis J. Grigg, 24, of Inola, Okla. died of injuries sustained in Taji, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle.

Maj. Ramon J. Mendoza Jr., 37, of Columbus, Ohio, and

Lance Cpl. Christopher M. McCrackin, 20, of Liverpool, Texas died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces during Operation Steel Curtain in New Ubaydi, Iraq.

Staff Sgt. Stephen J. Sutherland, 33, of West Deptford, N.J., died in Al Qadisiyah when his Stryker military vehicle accidentally rolled over.

Lance Cpl. David A. Mendez Ruiz, 20, of Cleveland, Ohio, and

Lance Cpl. Scott A. Zubowski, 20, of Manchester, Ind., died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Amiriyah, Iraq.
