Charles Manson: New Prison Photo Released
A new photo of Charles Manson, notorious cult leader and convicted murderer, was released by California prison officials Wednesday.
Manson, 74, is serving a life sentence at the Corcoran State Prison. The updated photo shows an aging inmate with graying beard and faded swastika mark.

It has been 40 years since Manson was sentenced to prison for the 1969 murders of actress Sharon Tate and Abigail Folger in Los Angeles. In the late 1960s, Manson founded "the Family" cult, which engaged in mass killings.
