1. Powerball Jackpot to be Split by Ariz., Mo. Winners
Two winners will split Powerball's $587.5 million jackpot, each raking in $293.75. Winners in Missouri and Arizona were called overnight.

2. Bad Weather Rolling Into Central and Northern Calif.
A major storm in the Gulf of Alaska is pushing more bad weather into central and northern California today. The first in a series of storms came ashore Wednesday morning, dumping up to 3 inches of rain in parts of California.

3. Live Shotgun Shell Found on Delta Flight
Passengers were taken off a Delta Airlines flight in Milwaukee on Wednesday after a man found a live shotgun shell near his seat. Officials removed and screened 120 passengers from the plane but found nothing.

4. Gun Sales Soar on Black Friday
Gun sales soared to record highs on Black Friday, causing outages with the FBI's required background check for most gun sales in the U.S. According to the FBI, there was a 20 percent increase in those background checks compared to Black Friday last year.

5. Spotify Names Song of the Year
Gotye's hit song "Somebody I Used to Know" has been crowned Spotify's top song of the year. The digital music service said the pop song is 2012's most streamed song across the globe. Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" and "We Are Young" by Fun came in second and third.
