1. Secy. Clinton Released from Hospital

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been released from the hospital after treatment for a blood clot in her head. Clinton's medical team says she is making good progress and they are confident she will make a full recovery.

2. Sandy Hook Elementary Students Return to School

Sandy Hook Elementary School students head back to school today for their first day of classes since the Dec. 14 shooting. The students will head back to the classroom this morning at their new school in Monroe, Ct.

3. Al-Jazeera Acquires Current TV

Al-Jazeera has acquired Current TV, Al Gore confirmed Wednesday, after the Pan-Arab station struggled to win a space on American cable television. The acquisition could extend Al-Jazeera's reach beyond large U.S. metropolitan areas.

4. Patti Page Dead at 85

Patti Page, who brought us songs like "(How Much Is That) Doggie in the Window?" died New Year's Day in California at the age of 85. Page was just five weeks away from being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards.

5. Starbucks Rolling Out Reusable Cups

Starbucks Corp. will begin rolling out $1 reusable plastic cups at its coffee shops today. The new cups will be cleaned with boiling water every time a customer brings it into one of the cafes.
