1. 2 Kids, 17 Adults Wounded in Parade Shooting

New Orleans police vowed to swiftly track down the gunmen who wounded 19 people at a neighborhood Mother's Day parade, the latest case of violence flaring up around a celebration in the city this year.

2. Fence Built Around Castro's Home

An imposing, 10-foot privacy fence will soon guard the home of Cleveland rape and kidnapping suspect Ariel Castro, with windows and doors boarded shut to keep people out of the place that police say was once meant only to keep people in.

3. O.J. Simpson Back in Court

The 65-year-old former football star, O.J. Simpson, is serving up to 33 years in a Nevada prison after a jury found him guilty of leading the gunpoint robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas in 2008. Simpson is now seeking a new trial because he says his longtime lawyer failed provided bad advice.

4. Deadline for Appealing Plan B Approaching

The government is running out of time to try to halt implementation of a federal judge's ruling that would lift age restrictions for women and girls wanting to buy the morning-after pill.

5. Turkey Will 'Not Refrain' From Responding to Car Bombings

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the country will "not refrain" from responding to twin car bombings it has blamed on Syria, but it will also act with caution and not be drawn into its neighbor's civil war.
