FBI agents are questioning a New Boston, Texas, man they consider a person of interest in the mailing of letters possibly laced with the ricin to public officials.

2. Mom Accused of Drug Smuggling Freed From Jail

The Arizona mother detained on drug charges in Mexico was released from jail and returned to the U.S.

3. Man Sentenced in Wrigley Field Bomb Plot

The Lebanese immigrant accused of placing a backpack he thought contained a bomb near Chicago's Wrigley Field has been sentenced to 23 years in prison.

4. NYC Business Leaders Create PAC

A group of real estate executives and corporate leaders in New York City has established a political action committee called Jobs for New York to ensure the incoming City Council elected this fall is friendly to businesses. The PAC plans to spend up to $10 million.

5. Mariah Carey Leaving 'Idol'

After weeks of speculation, singer Mariah Carey has officially confirmed she will not be returning next year as a judge on "American Idol."
