1. Texting Allegedly Triggers Movie Theater Shooting
An argument between a retired police captain and a couple who was texting inside of a Florida movie theater erupted into gunfire Monday that left one man dead and a woman wounded.

2. Christie Focusing on Education in State of the State Address
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has kept a low profile since last week’s press conference regarding the scandal involving closures leading to the George Washington Bridge. He can’t lay low any longer, as he’s scheduled to deliver his State of the State address today to both bodies of the state legislature.

3. Kanye West Is a Battery Suspect
Police say Kanye West is a suspect in a misdemeanor battery case, after fiancée Kim Kardashian was verbally harassed by a stranger.

4. Pilots Grounded After Airport Mix-up
Southwest Airlines grounded two pilots who mistakenly landed a Boeing 737 with 124 passengers at a small Missouri airfield instead of nearby Branson Airport.

5. ‘Octomom’ Charged With Welfare Fraud
Nadya Suleman, famous for giving birth in 2009 to eight babies after she received in vitro fertility treatments, has been charged with three counts of welfare fraud.
