— -- 1. Senate Expected to Release 'CIA Torture Report'

The Senate's Select Committee on Intelligence is expected to make public today a redacted version of the executive summary of its comprehensive investigation of the CIA’s detention and interrogation program. The comprehensive report has come to be known in shorthand as the “CIA Torture Report."

The committee’s investigation began in 2009 and three years later morphed into a 6,300 page report with 35,000 footnotes. The CIA’s security concerns about releasing the full report resulted in a compromise earlier this year by the White House and the committee to release a redacted version of the executive summary that was 500 pages in length.

The report is expected to provide details about the CIA’s enhanced interrogation techniques, including waterboarding, sleep deprivation and use of stress positions that human rights groups have described as torture. Concerns that the report’s contents could incite violence overseas have led the Obama administration to raise security precautions at U.S. embassies worldwide.

Another Nor’easter is on track to hit the East Coast tonight into Wednesday night with flooding rain along I-95 corridor and bring heavy wet snow to the Northeast interior.

A low pressure will develop off the coast of Delmarva Peninsula this afternoon and move north toward Long Island, New York. The rain should start tonight from Washington, DC to Boston and will be heavy at times through Tuesday with some areas getting 2 to 4 inches of rain in a very short period of time. Urban and road flooding is the biggest threat on Tuesday.

Further inland, heavy snow over 6 inches will fall mostly in the higher elevations of northwest New Jersey, eastern and central Pennsylvania, upstate New York, the Green and White mountains of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Western Massachusetts could also see heavy snow in the highest elevations. In addition to all the snow and rain, the storm will bring gusty winds up to 30 to 40 mph with higher gusts locally.

Since touching down in New York City on Sunday night, Prince William and Duchess Kate have been making the most of every second of their trip to the States.

While the Duke made a quick side trip to Washington D.C. this afternoon to advocate for environmental issues, his pregnant wife has stayed in the Big Apple, where she's enjoyed a huge reception.

"I think we’ve had a phenomenal response to the Duchess of Cambridge in particular. I’m amazed that New Yorkers were standing out in the freezing cold weather for so long just for a 30 second glimpse of her," royals expert Robert Jobson told ABC News. "Probably not since they days of princess Diana have we seen anything like this sort of reaction."

Washington Wizards star John Wall broke down in tears during an emotional post-game interview as he remembered a 6-year-old girl he befriend who lost her battle with cancer Monday.

Wall said he dedicated his performance in the Wizards double-overtime win against the Boston Celtics to Miyah Telemaque-Nelson. He met her a few months after she was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma and started a social media campaign to help her meet rapper Nicki Minaj, reports CSN Washington.

"It's just tough to see a little kid who fights so hard against cancer and can't beat it," Wall said after the game.

A Brooklyn photographer has no love for a drone carrying mistletoe that struck her in the face and got tangled in her hair.

Georgine Benvenuto was taking pictures for the Brooklyn Daily of a drone at a TGI Fridays restaurant in Sheepshead Bay on Dec. 4.

The promotion was meant to encourage holiday spirit by enticing diners to kiss under a floating drone with mistletoe attached. Those who agreed to smooch would be awarded gift cards.
