Transcript for 3 Deaths, 4 Children in Critical Condition After Tornadoes Reported in Alabama
We start with the deadly weather overnight in Alabama. Reports say at least two people are dead after strong storms struck in the northeast corner of the state. That happened in the unincorporated county of Rosa Lee. And there are reports of multiple injuries and winds strong enough that cars were thrown around. Look at some of the images coming in right now. There are also reports of a 24-hour day care being destroyed in neighboring DeKalb county. We'll stay on top of this breaking news story. Images are unbelievable. The storms are also having an effect on the firefighting efforts in Tennessee. The fires in and around gatlinburg have left three people dead along with hundreds of hopes and buildings damaged. Meanwhile, thousands of residents and tourists have been forced to evacuate the area.
