May 6, 2010— -- Today we've got more of Diane Sawyer's chat with Dr. Deepak Chopra about the mother-baby bond. The series of images and videos from the team at TheVisualMD and Chopra were so stunning that a one-day Conversation just wasn't enough.

Chopra talks about the first moment of biological connection a new mother experiences with her newborn. Every time a new mom touches her child, she makes the baby healthier, says Chopra, explaining how a mother's affection and facial expressions can help fight off disease.

The mother-baby connection also creates that first visual bond for children. Because their first and most-repeated visions are often of their mothers, children might begin to prefer their own race, says Chopra. But, he tells Diane, young children now experience a cross-cultural acceptance that's never been seen before.

"Every sound, touch, sight, taste, smell influences what is happening in the biology" Chopra tells Diane. "The most important experience is attention, affection and appreciation."

All this and more in today's Conversation.
