Feb. 4, 2010— -- The first national Tea Party convention opens today in Nashville, Tenn. It's an effort to bring together the various groups that have protested the federal stimulus package and the attempt to overhaul health-care. Sarah Palin is set to deliver the convention's keynote speech.

There are disputes within the Tea Party movement about its future -- should it continue to be a grassroots uprising or become a top-down organization, more like a traditional political party?

The Tea Party wouldn't be the first to attempt to break the red and blue monopoly in American politics -- the Green Party, the Libertarian Party, and many others have tried over the years. It got us thinking: If you could start a political party – what would you call it? And in one sentence – what would it stand for?
