Nov. 15, 2004 -- -- ABC News is looking for people who have been victims of theft by Transportation Security Administration airport screeners for an upcoming story on World News Tonight.

There is growing evidence that thefts from checked luggage by TSA screeners is more widespread than the agency is willing to admit.

Ten airport screeners were arrested in August, including a ring of three accused of high-profile thefts including jewelry and other valuables from celebrities in New York.

Most worrisome is that if screeners are illegally taking things out of checked luggage, they could just as easily put something dangerous in.
