We're going to talk about the victims of mh 17. Today the Malaysian airlines released the flight manifest, the list of everybody on board. We're learning about these extraordinary people and hearing the remarkable tales of those who were supposed to be on the flight but weren't. ABC's lama Hasan is in Amsterdam. Reporter: It's hard to believe that amidst the horrors of this tragedy there are moments of grace for some passengers, like these Australian newlyweds. They were planning on coming home from their honeymoon on mh 17. We've got some pretty good guardian angels. Reporter: The last minute changing their planes to avoid jet lag and flying a day earlier instead, a decision that saved their lives. We're feeling lucky but at the same time, you know, our hearts bleed for these families, expecting their loved ones to come home. Reporter: And the unbelievable story of Dutch cyclist martin De young, escaping death not once but twice. He was due to fly an mh 17 but found a cheaper ticket on a different airline. He was also booked on the doomed flight 370 which vanished five months ago but changed his plans. No one can forget the victims of that fateful flight, their stories being told by the loved ones they leave behind lie this Dutch national studying at Indiana university on the rowing team. Her teammates telling ABC news -- Someone you celebrated with, cried with, sweated with. We went through this whole journey together. I think losing her, you lose a brilliant person. She was studying. She was working with Alzheimer's cures. She spent a ton of time in the lab, even when she was rowing twice a day. So you lose that.
