Nov. 1, 2012— -- What's hotter than the thought of Penelope Cruz in lingerie? A two-for-one of Pe and her younger sister, Monica, of course!

The new diffusion line, called L'Agent, is a joint collaboration between Penelope, Monica, and Agent Provocateur Creative Director Sarah Shotton, who calls Penelope a longtime "muse" of the luxury lingerie brand.

But we won't be asking Javier Bardem about her wife in underwear (see what happened when Univision's Tony Dandrades tried to ask him something personal during a recent Skyfall press junket).

In fashion terminology, a diffusion line is a secondary line by a high-end designer sold at more moderate prices (because, in this economy, a $150 Roxie bra is a little steep). This is the first diffusion line ever for the company, which launched in 1994 in London.

Monica already has a relationship with Agent Provocateur, as the face of their Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign. Check out her commercial for the "Wilhemina: Show Your True Self" line – it's got a dark, Sherlock Holmes kind of vibe to it (the Guy Ritchie movies).

Alas, we'll have to wait to see official photos of the sisters modeling for the campaign, to be released closer to launch. But here is where you can use your imagination!

Per Agent Provocateur's CEO Garry Hogarth, the company had been looking to launch a diffusion line for a while, and plans to launch the Cruz collaboration in the Autumn/Winter 2013 season in two to three key department stores in each of the main global territories (not in individual boutiques).

Though not as famous internationally as her sister, Monica is well known in Spain for her acting and dancing. She must be pretty good if, at the age of 17, she was handpicked by flamenco dancer god Joaquin Cortes to join his dance troupe on his international tour.

Penelope and Monica have fronted campaigns (and designed for) Mango and Samantha Thavasa.

But their collabos go beyond fashion. Remember when they made a cameo in that steamy music video for their younger brother, Eduardo, Eva Longoria's ex?

What are sisters for?
