Jan. 31, 2013— -- intro: This week, we learned that Malcolm in the Middle star Jane Kaczmarek would be reuniting with her TV husband, Bryan Cranston, on Breaking Bad (although, despite a promising Tweet by Kaczmarek and an on-set photo posted by the show's Dean Norris, a source tells Vulture that the actress will only appear in a DVD extra). Because nothing (kind of sort of maybe) brings people together quite like meth.

The news got us thinking of other couples who really should be (and, in a couple of cases, really will be) reunited on TV (like, on a show, not presenting awards or selling hamburgers together or anything like that), if only so that we might live vicariously through them as we watch, alone. As always.

quicklist: 1title: Angela Chase (Claire Danes) and Jordan Catalano (Jared Leto), My So-Called Lifetext: We've all been an Angela after a Jordan at some point in our lives -- something about that bad boy facade hiding a vulnerable, artistic center will make a girl do dumb things. And the two still look cute together, although maybe not in a "coupley" way. So here's an idea: Have Leto join Homeland as Carrie's emo rockstar brother. Who developed gout.

quicklist: 2title: Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel) and Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), Boy Meets Worldtext: These two were childhood friends who became high schools sweethearts who went on to become parents with an adorable daughter named Riley. And not just in our fan fiction series, "Twlight Revisited: The Rise of Topanga." Yup, that's right -- Cory and Topanga are coming back to TV! But not as vampires. Alas.

quicklist: 3title: Roseanne Conner (Roseanne Barr) and Dan Conner (John Goodman), Roseannetext: These two were one of the greatest -- and most realistically portrayed -- sitcom couples of all time. But they need to get back together to make up for that [DECADES-OLD SPOILER ALERT] truly bizarre 9th season of Roseanne wherein we learn that Dan had died during Darlene's wedding. STOP THAT. Have Dan and Roseanne renew their vows in Reno before opening up a B&B/ bounty hunting service together. But it's best that they don't move to mobile home park because that didn't exactly work out when the two reunited for a pilot titled Downwardly Mobile.

quicklist: 4title: Henry Pollard (Adam Scott) and Casey Klein (Lizzy Caplan), Party Downtext: We're not going to shed any more tears on the demise of Party Down. Not one more tear! But we must insist that Adam Scott and Lizzy Caplan reunite on television. (Teaming up in the movie Bacheloerette doesn't count. At all.) So why not have Lizzy Caplan appear on Parks and Recreation as Adam Scott's possessive twin sister? She could have a waffle fight with Leslie and April could get jealous that someone is infringing on her misanthropic mean girl territory.

quicklist: 5title: Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) and Mike Hannigan (Paul Rudd), Friendstext: Ross and Rachel got all the attention with their "Will they? Won't they?" shenanigans, and Monica and Chandler's relationship also had its own time in the spotlight. But Phoebe and Mike had the best chemistry and unique personalities and gave us an excuse to stare at Paul Rudd for extended periods of time. So why not make This is 41, a This is 40 sequel wherein a comely massueuse/musician swoops in and takes Paul Rudd away to Tahiti.
