Dec. 14, 2009 — -- The politician who wrapped $90,000 in cash in foil and put it in containers in his freezer, former Democratic Rep. William "Cold Cash" Jefferson, was sent to prison for 13 years in November for bribery, racketeering and money laundering this year.

He was found guilty of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes while in office to broker business deals in Africa. Jefferson was convicted in August on 11 of 16 counts.
