Will You Stand By Your Bank?

May 6, 2009— -- America's top banks have already received billions in taxpayer funds and Thursday the government is expected to announced that roughly half of country's 19 top banks, including Bank of America, Citigroup and Wells Fargo, will need even more money.

Many, including bank customers, object to the idea that the banks are receiving government funds in the first place. Are you a customer at a big bank? If the government announces that your bank needs more government aid, how will you feel? Will you stay with your bank or switch to a less-needy institution?

If you do decide to switch, will it be because you're worried about the safety of your money or simply because you are turned off by the reliance on taxpayer funds?
