Along the way, adult men — such as a chauffeur and Macy's workers — screech like crazed young female fans when they see the superstar.

The gag: Bieber thinks all the excitement is about Macy's midnight opening — not about him.

That ad was filmed in Los Angeles, yet earlier this month, Bieber got a real-life late-night glimpse of the Macy's in New York City.

He and singer Mariah Carey used that store as a backdrop during a shoot for their upcoming All I Want For Christmas Is You duet video.
