If you don't want to watch the game, it's a great time to do other stuff.

— -- While more than 112 million people may be watching the 2015 Super Bowl on Sunday, it may be the perfect time to find some peace and quiet if you're not a football fan and do something else.

Here are some ideas of things to do on Sunday that will have fewer crowds and potentially cheaper prices:

1. Hit the slopes

On Sunday, ski and snowboard crowds are generally half of what they would be on a normal mid-winter Sunday, especially in markets where teams are playing during the game, said a spokeswoman for Liftopia.

You can expect even fewer skiers and boarders at New England and Pacific Northwest ski resorts this year given the teams involved in the Big Game.

2. See some art

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, said its average Sunday attendance last fiscal year was 3,452, while attendance on Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 2, 2014, was lower at 2,790 people.

"Visiting the MFA is a great pre-game activity for Patriots fans and for those who want to avoid the Super Bowl," Isabella Bulkeley, spokeswoman for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, told ABC News.

Visitors can see the real "Patriots" including Sam Adams and Paul Revere in the "Art of the America" wing. But note that your art outing will have to be a pre-game activity, because the museum closes at 4:45 p.m.

3. Go to the movie theater

If you're picky about getting the perfect seat to watch a film, or you want a lower chance of chatting teens or ringing cell phones, check out a movie theater. But due to some popular recent releases, it might be a crap shoot.

While the movie season in January leading up to Super Bowl Sunday is often a lackluster time for theater attendance, this year is a notable exception, said Fandango chief correspondent Dave Karger.

"'American Sniper,’ entering its third weekend of wide release, is still drawing crowds of moviegoers across the country, and Fandango is currently enjoying its top-selling month since November 2013," Karger said.

4. Shop

Again, this will be dependent on your neighborhood, but you can take a chance that your local shopping mall may be less crowded if many people will be watching the game at home or a bar.
