— -- Americans may spend an average of $96 on Valentine's Day, but you can also enjoy the company of loved ones without busting your budget.

This Valentine's Day spending projection increased 46 percent from last year's $66, according to Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, with many survey respondents saying they will buy a gift for their significant other.

Here are some Valentine's Day deals and freebies that may give your love life -- and not to mention wallet -- a break this year:

Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits

Heart-Shaped Bo-Berry Biscuits cost 99 cents for two, from Feb. 8 through Sunday at participating locations.

Guests who eat at these restaurants on Saturday, Valentine's Day, will receive two coupons good for future visits: a Two Can Dine coupon for $17.99 and a single dinner for $8.99.

Morton's The Steakhouse

From now through Monday, enjoy a steak and a cold water lobster tail served with drawn butter for $55.

Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse's Valentine’s menu for two, through Sunday, offers a Bloomin’ Onion and cheesecake to share, two sides and salads and two steak entrees. Guests can add a lobster tail for 50 percent off.

P.F. Chang's
