— -- Looking at 6-foot-8 Quinton Aaron, you'd think no one would ever mess with the 31-year-old actor and star of "The Blind Side."

But the New York City native opened up to People magazine about how he was actually picked on in the past.

"I've been bullied before and I know how important it is to give hope to kids who are going through the same thing," he told the magazine.

Because of this rough past, he started The Quinton Aaron Foundation. He goes to local schools to share his story and give advice. Aaron and fellow actor Eric Martinez have spoken to more than 300,000 kids in their efforts with the foundation.

"We have to listen to what they're going through and provide resources for them," he continued about helping youngsters. "Every kid needs to know that they're accepted and heard. That's why I'll keep doing this."
