How Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum's Daughter Is Following Their Footsteps
Everly Tatum is not quite two, but already has a full slate of activities.
— -- It should come as little surprise that the daughter of Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum has dancing feet.
After all, her famous parents met on the set of the dance flick "Step Up," her mom was once a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, and her dad is the star of the "Magic Mike" movies.
But not all her moves come from her parents.
"[Every night] from 7.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., we have parties after dinner. She’s obsessed with Sia‘s 'Chandelier' and [Taylor Swift's] 'Shake It Off,'" Dewan-Tatum told People recently. "She knows the dances. She’s learned off the videos."
That's not all little Everly Tatum, who will be two in May, does.
"She’s scheduled! She has soccer class, art class and music," Dewan-Tatum said.
In other words, she has a lot of interests and isn't afraid to pursue them.
"Her new favorite thing is to tell me, 'Mommy, I want down,' but it’s never an appropriate time," Dewan-Tatum told People. "We’ll be walking down the street and I’m like, 'No Everly, you can’t [sit] down here.'"
As Dewan-Tatum explained, "She’s a go-against-the-grain kind of girl, which I love. I just want her to be a confident, happy, passionate girl who feels comfortable in her skin and is able to pursue her dreams."
