'DWTS' Couple Peta and Maks Will 'Keep It Simple' for First Wedding Dance

— -- Despite their talents, newly-engaged "Dancing With the Stars" pros Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd won't be bringing their over-the-top moves to their wedding reception.

"We've been asked that a lot," Murgatroyd said of their anticipated first dance on "Good Morning America." "We just want to keep that really simple and nothing too crazy."

Prior to their showstopping Dec. 5 proposal, Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd first met while working on Broadway on 2009.

The couple dated in 2012 and after taking a brief break, the two reunited in October 2014.

"I personally knew when we got back together that this was for a reason," Chmerkovskiy said. "I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her."

Chmerkovskiy popped the big question on stage after a performance of his dance show “Sway” in Miami earlier this month.
