Check out the epic pic!
— -- When producers announced in March that the "X-Files" would be returning to Fox for six episodes and that David Duchovny, 54, and Gillian Anderson, 46, would reprise their roles as Mulder and Scully, fans went nuts.
Now, fans are getting to see the dynamic duo again!
"EXCLUSIVE: Your first look at Mulder and Scully! #TheXFiles," the official 'X-Files' Twitter page shared today, along with the duo filming.
Back when producers announced the reboot, series creator Chris Carter said, according to TV Line, "I think of it as a 13-year commercial break. The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories."
Carter, 57, will oversee the reboot, which is set to shoot this summer, according to the website. "The X-Files" ended in 2002, though it was revived for two feature films: "The X-Files" in 1998 and "The X-Files: I Want to Believe," in 2008.
