— -- "Good Morning America" news anchor Amy Robach just returned from Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater, and she’s hitting the red carpet Sunday for the first time for the official Oscars pre-show.

"I’ve been on five planes in four days," Robach said. "I have nothing to wear. Help!"

Stylist Jamie Salazar came to the rescue, scouting the hottest dress trends for Robach’s red carpet debut. “We are seeing crop tops, separate, asymmetrical cutouts, wild crazy prints,” Salazar said of this year’s red carpet trends. “There really are no more rules.”

1. Unconventional: Halston Pink Chiffon Hi-Low Gown

“The thing that I like about this dress is that it’s a little bit unconventional,” she said. “It’s short in the front and long in back, so you’re really getting the best of both worlds.”

2. Traditional: Carmen Marc Valvo Black Chiffon Gown

“The bottom half is incredibly full, but it’s light at the same time,” Salazar said of the gown. “So when you’re walking it has this beautiful, fluid, liquid like movement.”

3. Modern: Sophia Kah Teal Lace Gown

“It’s feminine and it’s delicate with the lace,” Salazar said of the handmade dress, adding that “the color makes it really strong and dynamic and powerful.”

For jewelry, diamonds are still a girl’s best friend.

“Let’s keep the jewelry simple and go for diamonds … statements earrings, rings and bracelets,” the stylist suggested, looking over gems from designer Roberto Coin.

Tune in Sunday to see what style Robach will wear on the red carpet.

Robach is joining hosts Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, along with “GMA” co-anchor Lara Spencer, special contributor Jess Cagle of People magazine and Entertainment Weekly, and Yahoo Style editor-in-chief and “FABLife” co-host Joe Zee for the official red carpet event, which begins at 7 p.m. ET before the 88th Oscars on ABC.
