Jamie Lynn Spears Is Getting Married Today
Britney Spears' little sister obtained a marriage license earlier this month.
March 14, 2014 — -- Britney Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn, is apparently getting married today.
The registry for the singer's younger sister and Jamie Watson lists the wedding date as March 14, 2014. It also lists the couple as registered at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Spears, 22, announced last March on Twitter that she had become engaged, saying, "Guesssss what??????" alongside a picture of her showing off a diamond ring. Her agent has not responded to ABC News' request for comment.

The younger Spears is an artist in her own right and, in November, the country singer released her first single, "How Could I Want More?" which big sister Britney plugged.
"Have ya'll checked out @JamieLynnSpears very first single 'How Could I Want More'? So SO proud of her," Britney tweeted.
Before getting back into music, Spears was known for her role in "Zoey 101," on Nickelodeon in the mid-2000's.
E! has reported that Spears and her fiancé obtained their marriage license March 5 in Louisiana. This gives the couple 30 days to get married after the license is issued. Here is a copy of the license.

Spears has a 5-year-old daughter, Maddie, with former fiancé Casey Aldridge. Spears and Aldridge called off their engagement in March 2009. Her soon to be husband is not Maddie's father, but has bonded with the little girl, as seen in various Instagram posts off Spears' account.
