— -- "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" held its big media day in Los Angeles on Sunday, with a star-studded news conference.

While director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy are still tight-lipped about what's in the movie, they were more forthcoming about what's not included.

"Jar Jar is definitely not in the movie," Kennedy said to cheers from the assembled crowd, referring to the Gungan character from the "Star Wars" prequels.

"[T]here are no Ewoks in this film," Abrams shared. Ewoks, of course, are the cuddly teddy bear-like Endor natives who helped defeat the Empire at the close of the original trilogy.

"That you're aware of," quipped Carrie Fisher, to laughs. "That's right," the director admitted. "There are rumors that some snuck onto set. But there are a lot of them in 'Return of the Jedi.'"

One other thing that was apparently missing from set of "The Force Awakens"?

Booze. Fisher, who is outspoken about her battles with addiction in the past, noted, "We drank through the whole trilogy in the beginning. This was a sober set. So...that's what J.J. brought to this, was sobriety."

Abrams also wanted fans to know they won't be missing anything if they don't stay past the end credits. Unlike Marvel movies, there is no after-credits sequence following "The Force Awakens."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens," opens Dec. 18, and will be released by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
