Megan Hilty: I'm Having a Girl
Former "Smash" star and husband Brian Gallager are expecting their first child.
April 30, 2014 -- Megan Hilty is thinking pink.
The former "Smash" star and her husband, Brian Gallagher, are expecting a baby girl, she confirmed to ABC News today.
"We had a name before we knew it was a girl. The girl name came so easily that we knew it was gonna be a boy," she said. "But we're keeping it to ourselves. She might come out and not look anything like the name we want to give her!"
Hilty, 33, married Gallagher last year after more than a year of dating. Their daughter is due in a few months.
"I'm just starting to show," said Hilty, who is currently promoting her new film, "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return," which hits theaters May 9. "I'm knocking on wood: I haven't been sick. It's been great."
And now she'll have an animated movie four years in the making to show her daughter after she arrives.
"This was obviously nothing I was planning when I was starting," she said, "but now it's the icing on the really awesome cake."
