— -- Miley Cyrus confirmed last night that she is going to be starring in the new Woody Allen series for Amazon.

Cyrus posted an artistic picture of Allen to Instagram yesterday with the caption, "F--- yeah ! Stoked to be in Woody Allens first series!!!!! I had claimed 2016 to be my year of "chillin the f--- out" but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of W.A. & I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be apart of the cast and work alongside the bad a$$ Elaine May & da dude himself!"

The singer and past "Hannah Montana" star, 23, is expected to act alongside Allen and famed screenwriter-director Elaine May in the show.

The series’ title is yet to be revealed, but according to Deadline, it’ll consist of six half-hour episodes and is set in the 1960s. Woody wrote the scripts and will direct. Production begins in March.

Miley last appeared in Sofia Coppola’s "A Very Murray Christmas" on Netflix.
