Mom Freaks Out Over Surprise Beyonce Tickets

— -- A New Jersey mom got the birthday surprise of her life on Sunday when her two kids informed her she'd be attending a Beyonce concert.

Shannon Stokes, 38 and his sister, Jade Stokes, 33, filmed their mom Lorna's hilarious reaction to the news.

"We were dying laughing," Shannon, of Marlboro, New Jersey, told ABC News of the video. "She's just a sweet person, so we wanted to make sure that she had a really nice celebration -- something a little bit more exciting, something that she wouldn't forget. It's not easy to forget that you saw Beyonce."

Shannon said his mom Lorna is a huge fan of "Queen Bey," but had only attended her very first tour as a solo artist. So, for her 55th birthday, he and his sister decided to drive to the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for the Formation World Tour.

Neither Shannon or Jade told Lorna that they were bringing her to see Beyonce, Shannon said.

"I said, 'We need to go kind of big for her birthday,'" he recalled. "I was expecting that at some point, she'd know something was up. Because she had no idea we were already in the stadium parking lot. At that point, she was very surprised."

After yelling with excitement, Lorna expresses her gratitude on film: "Oh my goodness," she said. "Thank you so much."

"You can see from pictures that she's very young at heart," Shannon said.
