— -- Nick Cannon has only nice things to say about his ex-wife Mariah Carey, and he's even cool with Carey's new boyfriend.

Cannon appeared as a guest on "The Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday, and opened up about his relationship with Carey.

Carey, 45, and Cannon, 35, split in August 2014 after six years of marriage, and the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer started dating Australian billionaire James Packer in 2015.

"Hey, how about Mariah bouncing back since the divorce. She's with a billionaire, dude," Stern said.

"That's awesome, isn't it?" Cannon replied. When Stern commented about the quick turnaround of relationships, Cannon laughed it off.

"It happened a lot faster than you thought," Cannon said. "She's Mariah Carey!"

"As long as she's happy and my children are happy, I'm happy," the actor continued.

Cannon also discussed how he and Carey are handling co-parenting after their divorce, and explained to Stern that he sees his kids more than people expect.

"[I see my kids] all the time," Cannon said. "We're in the same city together. It's beautiful because...my house is more, like, in the suburbs, and they're in the city. I work in the city. We hang out all the time."

"They'll come over and my daughter will be like, 'I don't wanna sleep here. I wanna sleep at my other house,'" Cannon continued. "We'll just put her in the car, and drive her to her mom's house and go there."

Cannon revealed that he even spent Thanksgiving with Carey and the kids as a family. "It was really cool because we all had Thanksgiving together," Cannon said. "It was beautiful. It was amazing. We're family, Howard!"

Cannon noted that while Carey's boyfriend Packer wasn't in attendance at the Thanksgiving celebration, he wouldn't have minded if Packer had shown up, admitting that he was "looking forward to hanging out" with the 48-year-old billionaire.

When Stern commented that Cannon and Carey's friendly relationship showed that "divorce can be a good thing," Cannon replied, "It can be when you're mature about it."

"There's still love and respect involved, so it's not really about what I get and what you get," said Cannon.
