— -- Nicky Hilton wore an ornate lace gown to her wedding today.
The hotel heiress, whose dress was reportedly designed by Valentino, wed James Rothschild at the Kensington Palace Orangery in the groom's hometown of London.
Built in 1704 for Queen Anne, the Orangery was meant to be not only a greenhouse, but also a space for her to entertain guests.
In keeping with the locale, several guests also have ties to the royal family. Judging from photos, Thomas van Straubenzee, a friend of Prince William and one of the godparents of Princess Charlotte, will be in attendance, as will friends of Prince Harry. In addition, Chelsea Clinton, and the bride's sister Paris, who's said to be one of the bridesmaids, will also be there.
Hilton, 31, told Avenue magazine in May that her dress was a "no-brainer," and is said to be Valentino.
"I really just want everything traditional and beautiful," she told the magazine. "So many brides today want avant garde, over the top, fashiony. I just like sticking to what works."
This is the second marriage for Hilton, who was married to money manager Todd Meister for several weeks in 2004. She and Rothschild, one of the heirs to the European banking dynasty, announced their engagement last August after about three years as a couple.
