'Revenge' Finale: 2 Major Deaths in Series Closer

— -- "Revenge" ended with quite the bang on Mother's Day Sunday night.
After four seasons, the battle between Madeleine Stowe's Victoria and Emily VanCamp's Emily finally came to a bloody close.
Big spoilers ahead.
The finale revealed that Victoria faked her own death by using her mother's body, according to the Hollywood Reporter's recap.
Emily is in jail for Victoria's supposed death, but then finds out the truth and vows to kill her. Meanwhile, Jack -- after the show teased his and Emily's potential future for years -- finally asks her father (who, yes is till alive. This was revealed last season) if he can marry his true love.
But it doesn't end there. Emily gets out of jail and points a gun at Victoria after finding her whereabouts, but it's her father, David, that pulls the trigger and shoots Victoria, not Emily.
The show fast forwards to David dying later in a poetic way, telling his baby girl he loves her, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show ends with Jack and Emily happily ever after.
Showrunner Sunil Nayar told the Hollywood Reporter that he thought fans would be "thrilled and surprised and, more than anything, moved" by the finale.
"I'm super thrilled with it," he added. "I think that everybody ends up with the fate they deserve and that every dream comes true in a way, and so does every nightmare."
