— -- Sarah Jessica Parker has had a very happy birthday.
The actress, who turns 50 today, has been celebrating with her family, according to the photos she posted on Instagram.
"Who knows what the rest of the day holds," Parker wrote next to a photo of herself hugging her son, James Wilkie Broderick, "but who could ask for more?"
Parker, who has three children with her husband Matthew Broderick, said that her day began with breakfast prepared by her 5-year-old twins, Loretta and Tabitha. The girls made handwritten cards for their mom to accompany the eggs and tomatoes they brought her.
"Prepared and plated and table set by 2 pixes who make waking on this day ever more wonderful," Parker wrote.
However, the fun really began the night before when when she took her 12-year-old son to a New York Rangers game.
Parker, who was seated behind Tom Hanks and his rapper son, Chet Haze, wasn't really paying attention to the game for awhile, as evidenced by the photos of her reading her book, "Astonish Me."
"Best hockey-watcher ever!" wrote the book's author, Maggie Shipstead on Twitter. "100% tickled."
So was Parker, who was photographed laughing with Hanks during the game.
