— -- Sean "Diddy" Combs stopped by "Watch What Happens Live" over the weekend and a caller into the show got the rapper and entrepreneur reminiscing about his late, great friend The Notorious B.I.G.

The iconic rapper, real name Christopher Wallace, died in 1997 after being shot in a drive-by.

The caller asked Diddy, 45, his "favorite memory of working with Biggie."

"My favorite memory was, we were doing the Soul Train Awards, and I bought Biggie some shoes that were three sizes too small," Combs said.

He continued, "And we found out about it 15 seconds before we had to go on, so he walked out performing on the back of his heels of the shoes. And he was saying right before we got on, 'Your shoes are always right! Why can't you get my shoes right?'"

Diddy said he was laughing as he was coming out to perform with the legendary rapper.

"It was great, just so many great times," he said.
