Shakira Sets the Record Straight on Her 'Territorial' Boyfriend
The "Voice" coach said that Gerard Pique doesn't let her make videos with men.
April 7, 2014 -- Shakira is backtracking from her recent comments about boyfriend Gerard Pique.
The "Voice" coach, 37, told Billboard magazine last month that Pique doesn't allow her to make sexy videos with men.
"He's very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women," she said.

But now she's saying it was all a big joke.
"I recently said in some interviews that my man could be territorial. For the record, I was being humorous and now I see that some press took it very literally!" she wrote on Facebook. "The reality is that we have a beautiful relationship of mutual trust, and jealousy has never been an issue on either side. Next time I promise, I'll be more careful when attempting to use my sense of humor, as clearly it can be easily misinterpreted!"
Shakira and Pique have a 13-month-old son, Milan.
