Sinead O'Connor and Hollywood's Top 10 Quickie Marriages

Dec. 28, 2011— -- intro: Irish singer Sinead O'Connor called it quits with fourth husband Barry Herridge on Christmas Eve, after 16 days of marriage.

O'Connor, who revealed on her blog that she and Herridge had lived as man and wife for only seven days, blamed "intense pressure" placed on her husband by members of his inner circle, and her "wild" journey to find marijuana on the night of their Las Vegas nuptials. Herridge, an addiction counselor for children, apparently frowned on the latter.

The "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer married Herridge on Dec. 8, her 45th birthday, three months after he responded to her public plea for love, and now admits that she may have "rushed into getting married."
