-- intro: Stars get to play dress-up for a living, so it should come as no surprise that they love to celebrate Halloween.
Many got an early start celebrating the holiday. Last weekend, “Glee” star Matthew Morrison threw his fifth annual Halloween bash just a week after saying “I do” with wife Renee Punto. The pair came dressed as John Travolta and Uma Thurman’s characters in “Pulp Fiction” and even performed a dance from the 1994 cult film.
Stars also showed up at the Casamigos Tequila party last weekend in Los Angeles. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, who owns the ultra-premium tequila company with pal George Clooney, channeled 1970s couple Cher and Gregg Allman.
Among the more creative costumes, Liv Tyler poked fun at her recently reported pregnancy. The expectant mom's clever costume was of a fabric oven with a bun in the window right at her belly. “Bun in the oven,” Tyler captioned one of the photos posted on Instagram.
In September, People magazine reported that the "Armageddon" actress, 37, is expecting her second child with boyfriend David Gardner, whom she’s been dating since earlier this year. The new baby will be Tyler's second. She posed beside son Milo, 9, from a previous relationship, just before his school dance.
"Halloween school dance," she wrote on Instagram. "My favorite party!!!!!"
