Oct. 23 -- Apparently, Leonardo DiCaprio isn't harboring a grudge against Martin Scorsese.

The Titanic star, who was rumored to be bad-mouthing his collaboration with the acclaimed director on Gangs of New York, has signed up to work with Scorsese again on the epic project Alexander, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, written by Peter Buchman (Jurassic Park III) and Oscar winner Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) is just one of several biopics about Alexander the Great currently in development.

This particular one details the story of the famed leader, who was crowned King of Macedonia after the murder of his father, Philip. The story centers on Alexander's ambition to conquer the world, which ultimately leads to his downfall.

Oscar nominee Jude Law was previously in talks for the lead role, and scribe McQuarrie was previously penciled in to direct.

There is no start date yet for the film. DiCaprio is also scheduled to work with another A-list director, Steven Spielberg, on the crime story Catch Me If You Can.

Meanwhile, the likelihood that Gangs of New York will bow in 2001 looks more and more remote. Miramax's Oscar entry is now likely to be bumped until next summer, according to the trades.
