Keanu's Ex Killed in Crash
April 4 -- An ex-girlfriend of Keanu Reeves' was killed today in a traffic accident in Hollywood, Calif., according to various media reports.
According to London's Daily Mail, Jennifer Syme, a 28-year-old record company executive, died of head injuries sustained when she was thrown from her Jeep Cherokee after it collided with a line of parked cars.
The British paper reported that Syme, who was pregnant by Reeves but lost the baby in late 1999, had begun dating the Matrix actor again. However, a representative for Reeves, who confirmed the tragedy, told Mr. Showbiz that the two were not currently dating.
Reeves' publicist told Mr. Showbiz that Syme's untimely death is a "private matter" and that the actor would not release a statement on the accident.
