March 9 -- Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow will share screen time with Meryl Streep, the woman who has so many little golden guys that she probably has a full-time maid dedicated to keeping them all polished to a blinding sheen.

Paltrow has committed to co-star with Streep in the mother-daughter drama Daughter of the Queen of Sheba, a sentimental tale based on National Public Radio correspondent Jacki Lyden's memoir. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Streep will portray Paltrow's manic-depressive mother.

The film will be directed by Matt Williams, who also lensed the Ashley Judd-Natalie Portman tearjerker Where the Heart Is.

Daughter of the Queen has no start date as of yet, probably because of the impending writers' and actors' strikes poised to hit Tinseltown this summer. It is highly likely that Williams will lens another film prior to beginning production on Daughter, the Reporter notes.
