November 6 -- Someone call a screenwriter: ABC legal drama The Practice has two unexpected new cast members to write into its current season.

Today Emmy-winning actress Camryn Manheim announced to People that she is expecting a baby this April. Manheim, 39, would not reveal who the father was but did say that writers for the show have retooled a story line to include her pregnancy.

Talk about late hours in the writing lounge Manheim's Practice castmate Kelli Williams, 30, is due to deliver her second baby in February.

Prime-time TV's current mini-baby-boom is likely to cause some plot readjustments on major shows like NBC's ER and Frasier, and CBS's Judging Amy.

ER's Alex Kingston, 37, is set to leave the operating room for the maternity ward early next year. Meanwhile, her castmate Ming-Na is expecting a little one by the end of the week. "This was a surprise," the actress recently told TV Guide. "Condoms don't always work."

Other expecting TV celebs are Judging Amy's Amy Brenneman, Frasier's Jane Leeves, and E! gossip host Melissa Rivers.
